Yes, my deviant account has dried up for several reasons. The two major ones are these:

1. New job. I graduated college in may of last year, and like most Americans, got left out in the cold since the economy went into recession shortly after. But, I got a job through one of my father's friends in August. She's the person who runs the admissions department of an online college, and opened up a chance for me to get in. So, I'm now an admissions representative there. It's an okay job. Pays the bills at least. But it's not a design job. Dealing with students leaves me coming home too mentally exhausted to deal with anything else, let alone drawing.
I hope this will improve as I get more and more used to the job.

2. Glasses. I'm very very very blind. And since being in college, have had no insurance. New job, new insurance, thankfully. But for the past... I'd say 5 months, my eyesight had dropped to the point where I was getting dizzy, and taking painkillers every day because the light and the blurriness just made it hurt SO badly. I can barely look at my CINTIQ screen anymore.
But, I finally got to the eye doctor two weeks ago and ordered me some new glasses. If you want to know how bad my eyesight is... the total cost of glasses.... 900 dollars. Thankfully, my insurance covers most of it, as I only had to end up paying about 370ish. Keep in mind, I only get the necessities for medical reasons, like transitions. I used to have HORRIBLE migraines constantly in middle school due to light sensitivity. (I don't mean just a headache, I mean the "curl up in the dark unable to move without puking and wish I was dead" kind.. )The doc gave me transitions, no massive migraines since.
My glasses were due this week, but since they're so specially made, and the factory is backed up on orders.. well... I was promised they should arrive this friday. God willing.

So there you go. Hopefully I'll start getting into gear soon, and the new glasses will definitely help. So, those of you who like my art, hang in there. (if there's any of you left who still watch me )

I haven't been on deviant for a bit due to out of town friends being over. And now I'm going to Otakon.
MegaMan photoshoot is at 11 am Saturday, by the Starbucks.
We're also hosting an MM panel Saturday 12:45 in panel 2 and an EXE 3 tourny at 4. Be there if you're at the con!

I'll be back on monday. There's pictures and notes I need to respond to when I get back. So don't worry, I'm not ignoring peoples XD I'm just a little busy this week.
